Classic Shade sails are much stronger and more durable than cheaper products on the market, thanks to the combination of monofilament yarn and tape used in both the warp and weft when knitting the fabric. Cheaper products are manufactured using only tape yearn in the warp and monofilaments in the weft, resulting in a fabric with a much reduced quality. The added monofilament yarn included in the warp of Classic Shade sails provides the fabric with much greater strength and greatly reduces any tendency to sag or flap over time.  All fabric used in the manufacture of Classic Shade sails is also heat set, thus increasing resistance to stretching, shrinking or distortion of the fabric.
